just browsing some albums ive got and track 17 on the new eminem album `crazy in love' as most rap artists.....borrows, samples, steals...whatever you want to call it.. from an amazing song originally by a band called HEART. the original is called `crazy on you' and features one of the best female vocalists of all time. Although hearing this kinda thing in `new' releases annoys me....if it gets any1 to check out the original or a HEART best of then im all for it....

:D what a voice!

check out `alone, if looks could kill & all i wanna do is make love to you' oh and of course...crazy on you

 cant be just me who knows this woman is such a damn good singer?

I remember Heart.

Ann and Nancy Wilson are sisters from Seattle. They're both still around, and I agree...Ann Wilson is an amazing singer. I always felt she was way underated. Found their discography:

Personally, I always liked "These Dreams", "Bad Animals" and "Dreamboat Annie". Haven't heard much from them in recent years, which is a great shame.

Occasionally, someone does a remake of someone else's song that's good, or even better than the original, but that's rare. Most of the time, it's just a pale imitation.

:D new album!

they toured in 2003 ...maybe since then as well.... and with the eminem link maybe they will get a bit of coverage.

i remember hearing that the record company tried to make out they were lesbians on there early albums haha..

my friend is in a rock covers band and i asked the singer (female) why they dont do any heart....and she just said `coz she is god....i cant do that stuff any justice'

Some amazing tracks. I liked the albums 'Dreamboat Annie' and 'Little Queen'. Sounds a bit dated now but takes me right back. I particularly like 'Cry for Me' and 'Go on Cry'. The soaring guitar and vocals work really well.

I've never been a heavy rock fan but I do appreciate the odd classic rock track, such as the likes of Whitesnake and Def Leppard etc.

I just prefer listening to the songs rather than joining in the whole wear-black-leather-pants-and-worship-the-devil-and-slay-your-parents experience.

Moderation in all things :D
