I was just watching something on telly with Jonathon Frakes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0R_yKa0W_8)- "Beyond belief" or something it called, and its about ghosts and stuff like that.

As I watched Frakes, it occurred to me that should he ever be released into the wild, he wouldnt last long.
Ok, hes a big, strapping bloke and he looks physically powerful, hes obviously fit as his action scenes in the star trek things prove, but... How would he fare against a lion or maybe a hyena?

I know its been a few million years since human beings have had to face up to predators, and I suppose we`re out of practise, but.. how long do you think Frakes would stand up to a leopard for example?

Yes. THATS how bored I am!

He would simply unlace his girdle and crush them with his mighty girth. It's a long standing Trek tradition that at least one crewmember wears a girdle. Next Gen was special as two of them did, Riker and Geordie.

He wouldn't stand a chance against a lion, leopard or hyena. As he was in TNG and therefore likeable though, I wouldn't wish a hyena on him. A lion or leopard will do you the favour of killing you before eating you, a hyena isn't fussy about if you're still screaming or not!

Maybe he'd survive alaska though, got the Grizzly Adams look about him.

This question gets answered every couple of years or so, when some drunken lunatic decides he wants to go and kiss goodnight to the lions at the zoo.

The answer is usually around the one-and-a-half-seconds mark.

My OH has a lot to answer for....not only do I know who Jonathon Frakes is, I've also seen that programme

Could you be more specific about what you mean by 'in the wild'?

If he could keep his tweezers, eyeliner and mascara then he would still be able to give any wild creature his Number 2 particularly hard stare. As you know, this power of this gaze causes wild animal to drop dead on the spot and female aliens to be overcome with lust.

Without the aid of any eye enhancement, if he was left to fend for himself the the wilds of darkest Derbyshire, it would be a matter of days before his remains are found by a troop of Brownies. His death? Savaged by that most fearsome of predators......sheep :hihi:
