I am a family history addict who is researching the HOPKINS family in Sheffield. I would specifically like to locate descendants of John HOPKINS, born about 1846, and Ann Elizabeth ASHTON, born in 1852. They were married 1 Dec 1873 and had the following children:

Mary Ann, married Frederick CARTWRIGHT

William, married Ada Mary PARKER

Margaretta, nothing further known

John, married ?

Thomas Albert, married Rose Lily ATKIN

Charles, married Elizabeth WINDLE

Joseph, married Flory STORE

Ernest, married Alice LAKE

John HOPKINS was the son of John HOPKINS and Cecelia NOONE, who were from Ireland. The married in Sheffield on 18 Jul 1848 and had children John (see above), Mary, Margaret (NOLAN), Cecelia (MORAN), Mary Ann, Elizabeth (MORAN), Joseph Vincent (McLEAN), Maria, Bridget (KELSHAW) and Agnes.
