Keeps chirping at me for no reason, its really strange!
Every couple of hours or so, for abput 10 minutes. WHen it happens i close all my applications but it carries on. Im thinking maybe its a virus, or a warning sign? Will run virus software later. Im on Windows Vista

Sounds like one of the keys are stuck. Try holding down one of the keys for 5 minutes(try shift 1st as I know this makes a noise), does it make that noise?

- if so, it might be one of the 'non typing' keys like Esc or the Fkeys

deffo not that mate. Its a different sound, and the sound is delayed by about 10-15 seconds

It's not that thing where it's trying to tell you something, is it? There's a code of beeps that mean different things going wrong ... look in your manual?
