Your pub is about 2.5 miles from Ecclesall, as any map will tell you. I don't see how this is a problem. There are also several areas that are nearer to you, but the road name must confuse you too much.


Incidentally, I have had it confirmed by a worker at the city council that boundary maps of the electoral wards show clearly that the Ecclesall WARD (not area) does not even begin until Hunters Bar. I believe your ward is Broomhill.

Oh i do apologise for slagging off the flats behind classic rock they are lovely flats and NO-ONE in their right mind would be worried about leaving their car there or in any other groups of blocks of flats.
I was just as happy about leaving it there as i would have been leaving it somewhere really posh with lots of rich people who already have nice cars so wouldnt want my little car or the £100 theyd make from it.

I think you are missing the point on this. Nobody is worried about your reference to the flats. The line, highlighted above, appears to imply the likelhood of your car being stolen was increased due to the presence of Somalians living in that area. It's these comments regarding Somalians that has worried the moderators and prompted other users to complain of racism.

Please don't be upset by this but we do have to 'moderate' this forum and occasionally people take offence. If you reported a thread that offended you, then we would take similar action.
