is there a coach do you provide refreshments
carcrash 08-04-2005, 16:19 What ghosts are there in the city centre
I went last Monday and thought it was great. I didn't see any ghosts but I learnt loads, not just about ghosts but about the history of Sheffield. Not being from Sheffield originally I didn't know that much about the history.
It cost a fiver but its cheaper for students and OAP's, the tour lasted about 2 hours.
The tour starts at the town hall steps and finishes at The Queens Head pub near Pond St.

In answer to your query, yes an eleven year old is most welcome on our tours. Yours Mr P Dreadfull.
Ousetunes 13-04-2008, 13:02 There are numerous ghost tours in York and even one which visits haunted pubs.
Now if there is one of these in Sheffield, count me in.
Hick!

millers11 20-08-2009, 07:30 I went on this tour last night and really enjoyed it. The guy certainly knows his stuff and I found it very interesting - it certainly makes you see Sheffield in a differerent light!
The tours run Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays from the Town Hall steps at 7.30pm and last around 2 hours. The website has all the info you need - www.steelcityghosttours.co.uk
i also went last night. it was brilliant. cant wait to try the other nights.
no more short cuts for me when on a night out.
imparker 20-08-2009, 18:23 how much is it to go on the tour?
millers11 20-08-2009, 21:09 its £5 - great value - see the website www.steelcityghosttours.co.uk
Can I ask please, how many people go on the tours as I would not want to be going on my own :)
millers11 20-08-2009, 21:44 I think it depends who turns up - for example there were 8 of us last night.
Its very informal - turn up on town hall steps at 7.30pm on Mon, Wed or Thurs and whoever is there goes on the tour
