All my music is put through windows media player which is setup to convert them to MP3 then I just copy the mp3's to disk as data.

you just create a normal data CD and put MP3's on it :) nothing fancy needs to be done, unless you want to put .m3u playlists on or something

Yeah, for nero....start > nero > nero 6 ultra edition > nero express....

Choose audio and make an audio cd, click the add button @ top right of the nero window and browse to whichever directory your Mp3's are in, hit ctrl + a (But not very hard) and then if you want em all click finish (Alternatively, hold ctrl and left click what you do want) and then click finish...next and then burn....crack a can open and flex...

And I assume you can only get very little oin your cd's..? the written data takes up far to much space...use the above and you will get a lot more on...specially if you don't wanna do owt fancy

In Nero, under 'Audio' you have a selection 'Make mp3 Disc' and this copies mp3 files onto your cd.

But, I am guessing that you are talking about ordinary audio cd's which play on an ordinary cd player.

You will have to convert these tracks to mp3 files, first, using 'ripper' software. There is a lot of free programs about and even a 'plug-in' you can download to use with Windows Media Player. My version of WMP needs the plug-in, maybe the latest version has it included, I'm not sure.

Hope this helps a bit.

The latest version of Windows Media Player has MP3 encoding built in.

Or you could download the plug-in for Nero.

Or you could download Winamp Pro

i found the best all in one solution i.e ripper, converter, player, burner, playlist maker has to be musicmatch ive used it for years and there is no other program that comes close such a doddle to make mp3 cd's from audio or audio from mp3 takes ony mins. http://www.musicmatch.com
