Hi Thanks
I have tried this, and the caliberation test etc show the controllers to be working ok, and the controller is lit. But will not work on any games
Thanks

Unless you're using something like an xbox 360 pad on a modern game, most games will need to be configured especially to use a gamepad using their control config screens.

What games are you trying to play with it?

The games have to support game controllers (Joysticks etc) and you will more than likeley have to enable and configure them in the game.

I dont understand why you'd want to play the Sims with a game pad...its one of those games where I really couldn't understand the console port....please enlighten me as to why you want a game pad on it? :)_

Its the kids that play the sims games - I wouldn't have a clue whether you should or should not use a game pad or if indeed you can use a game pad for the said named games - thanks for all your replies - looks like a trip back to the shop to return the items. :(
