I just looked out of my window, and it's snowing in Hillsborough / Lower Walkley! :clap: :clap: Anyone else got anything? In fairness, it's that kind of rubbish, non-settling snow, but it probably means nobody in Deepcar and Stocksbridge will be able to get to work! :hihi:

Yes it was snowing whilst I walked to work this morning through town, gave everything a really victorian look in the street lights. It was really pretty, in a kind of "oh god I'm so cold and tired that my head has gone numb", sort of a way :)

It's not unusual to have a cold snap around Easter. In fact I believe we've had more White Easters than White Christmases.

We're at ~1200 feet and had a good half-inch of settled snow first thing this morning, - mostly gone now. Yesterday we were sat outside in the afternoon sunshine ;)

No snow in Lowfield/Olive Grove, alas. You could see it had settled on the distant hills though. Plenty of cars coming into the city centre this morning, covered in snow.

Last time it snowed, a few weeks ago, we went walking on Bleaklow - where the snow was deep and crunchy. Kept falling through the odd patch, up to your thigh in places. Doesn't look like it will stay until the weekend - so may have to get the ironing done instead of going sledging. Pity - 'cos I love it when it snows!

Its starting to snow down here in Handsworth area. Its not too bad (yet), but it is getting colder.

I just went out of the office for a sandwich, its snowing VERY lightly at Hunters Bar.. I was really confused when Ecclesall Road was really sunny this morning, but the odd car drove past covered in snow!
