Having troubles removing spybot search and destroy from my machine I've tried reinstalling and uninstalling but it still errors. I understand you can manually uninstall programs by deleting files then removing from the registry. Could anyone tell me how to do it before I go blindly faffing round in my registry.

CCleaner is pretty good at cleaning the registry after bad uninstalls - free too.

You could simply delete the Spybot directory, then run ccleaner which should find and (offer to) delete the residual registry entries:thumbsup:
