Heeley and District Allotments are having a plant stall at Heeley Festival (12-4pm, June 21st) this year to raise some much needed funds. Anyone who would like to support the site by offering young (friuit/veg) plants to sell is welcome to take them to the allotment shop in the week before the event (or bring them to the stall on the day).
hi LC, I think I'll have some Pepper plants (v small) and some Tomato plants - they look fantastic, but sadly I'm not sure what variety they are (the seeds got mixed up by my naughty cat - five varieties in total). Probably have some spare marigolds too.
I was a little concerned by the ridiculously cheap prices though last year - it did cross my mind that they'd be better on my compost heap, putting something back into the lottie.

Great MC, the more the merrier. I wasn't on the stall last year but I guess they were more concerned about making sure they had no stock left than making massive profits. I'm hoping to be on the stall this year so will raise your concerns about prices.

Great MC, good to have some variety. Pete has said he'll charge a little more than last year as he agrees that veg was very cheap. See you on Sat.
