I am in the process of putting together a history of the townships of south east Sheffield; Hackenthorpe, Birley, Woodhouse, Richmond, etc. I would be grateful to anyone who could give me any of their personal knowledge or memories of these areas through the ages that may be of interest. References to buildings, objects that are no longer there, personal anecdotes, photos are all welcome.
Supplying your first name and age would help in any future publication, though is not essential. Thank you.

a lot of the areas you are studying were in derbyshire not too long ago .
something you may be interested in is , the cemetary at beighton church has the grave of the " queen of the gypsies" her name date of birth etc is there . that is why the " gypsy queen " pub at crystal peaks is so named .
