This is mental health week. So well advertised, that even i didn't remember it.:?
It needs supporting, so you should pop down to one of the events and learn a bit more about mental health and how to keep it.
I know I'm not the only one on here to suffer mental health problems...and it might surprise you to know how many people YOU know that do. I think it's 1 in 3 that will suffer some kind of problem at some time....The sad thing is that you may never know how much someone near you is suffering, cos they're too afraid of your reaction to ask for help. Something to think about...
Events this week include:
Wednesday: Men's Day, St Marys Conference Centre, Bramall Lane. Open to all. Mens Health Group and Info stalls 10-12.30, free buffet lunch 12.30-1.30, 1,30-3,30 theatre-style workshop looking at psychiatric services.
Thursday:Stress Buster Day. St Mary's Conference Centre, Bramall Lane. All welcome. 10-4. Workshops on stress, relaxation, homeopathy, and reiki. Free lunch. Comfort zone massage.
5.15 Showroom Cinema - special screening of the Full Monty £2, and post-film discussion about unemployment and depression led by Lomper.

Theatre performance where you watch a young woman's descent into mental illness, then try and figure out how it could have been different/ what could be changed to stop the slide..
