Taekwondo every Monday and Friday at Wadsley Church Hall, Worral Road. Starts at 7.00pm and ends at 8.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
Very relaxed and great for the whole fanily, none of the macho stuff you find at other Taekwondo clubs.

I run a Taekwondo School which will be opening a full time dojang soon. The prices for that will be £3.50 per session or you can buy 10 for £30. This wont include grading fees. Once all the time slots are running you can also take the option of paying £35 per month which will include grading fees.
The venue will have 150 meters of training space, Martial arts shop and coffee area.

Hi everyone.

The Sheffield Mudo academy could be opening its doors in July. The instructor is 5th Dan who graded under Grand Master Kim Yong Ho 9th Dan. He is also a fitness instructor. The Academy will focus on Taekwondo along with Hapkido and Kumdo. (All Korean martial arts) It will also be available for hire.

The Academy aims to offer value for money along with quality Martial arts education and training. Each session will last one and half hours. The Academy itself will have 150 meters of matted floor space along with a coffee shop, Martial Arts shop and of course changing rooms.

It’s just of the Super tram and major bus routes based in Sheffield 6, but with the tram and bus you could get there from almost anywhere in Sheffield.

Please give us some feed back on here.

On the 22nd of July the council gave us planning permission to change the use of 42 West Don Street into a Martial Arts Academy. We are now only waiting for the lease, which I am told is on its way. The newest Martial arts Academy to open in Sheffield which is recognised by the National Governing body for Taekwondo in the UK will be open soon.

We will be teaching Taekwondo in its full form and not just concentrating on the sport side. The Academy will focus on the benefits and positive elements that Taekwondo and all Martial Arts have to offer.

We will welcome beginners of all ages and abilities. If you are an instructor who may be interested in what the Mudo can offer drop us a e-mail or call in for a coffee.

After a long hard slog the Sheffield Mudo Academy is now open. We teach Taekwondo and Kumdo. The Academy goal is Martial Arts education. In the next few weeks you will see Taekwondo on the Olympics but it’s more than just a sport. Taekwondo is a martial art of self defence. Its history is not that old but if you study the Korean system of combat you will see it dates back before most people believe. To understand a system fully you need to train in every aspect of the art form not just one or two. History tells us that the early Korean forms of combat involve Sword and staff (Kumdo) which is why we teach it at the Academy. This was and is taught to our instructors by a Korean Buddhist monk Kim Sang Tae. Our Taekwondo is under the guidance of Grand Master Kim Yong Ho 9th Dan. We are members of the British Taekwondo Council who are the governing body for Taekwondo in the UK. Come down and have a look, bring the whole family. Our rates are very reasonable.

Hi everyone.
The Sheffield Mudo Academy is now recruiting students to train at its new full time Academy which is located on West Don Street (Just of infirmary Road and near Tesco) As there are so many schools and organizations available now in today’s world, it is important to find a style that provides a safe, healthy and professional approach to martial arts training without gimmicks, traps or elaborate marketing schemes to get you in the door.
Training in a martial art could be one of the most beneficial and rewarding experiences you or your child could ever embark on. Choosing a school is and should be a serious decision. For a child, the early and adolescent years are vitally important to good mental and physical health. A well run and maintained program will help a child in their growth and development as a person. For the adults martial arts training can be a good alternative or may compliment your current training programme.

If you’re interested in learning the full martial art of Taekwondo and not just the sport side then pop down and see us or e-mail us on info@sheffieldmudo.co.uk
All martial arts are a great way of staying active, meeting new friends and having some fun.

Hi
The opening day celebrations went well with over 42 people training. Masters Ron and Dave did a great job as always.
So that’s it we are now officially open...
Master Dave will be holding a Pal Jung Do seminar in November and Master Nick will be holding a Kumdo/weapons seminar soon
The martial arts shop side of things is also now open. At the moment we only cater for Taekwondo but other styles will be coming soon.

I'm a recent convert to the Mudo philosophy. Found this dojang to be friendly and professional. I can train with my kids, which is a bonus. I'd recommend making a visit to see how they do things there. Good instructors, very experienced Master who addresses all aspects of the martial art. Indeed, there is more here than just sport.

Yes he is. He's also a recent convert. An experienced fighter who has "seen the light". He's a great guy.
