The forum search facility doesn't allow (due to potential strain on server) you to search for words of less than 4 characters, for example "gym" or "BMW". This is obviously frustrating but there's some good news, we can maintain a list of commonly searched 3 letter words which will be allowed.
Please reply back here with any 3 letter words that you think would be useful to add to the "allowed" list, I already added "gym" and "BMW" by the way! I can't promise to add all of them, otherwise we'll be back at square one, but I'll do my best. :)
I had a 2 letter one annoy me the other day. Can you get PC in? It's a common as hell word with more than one meaning.

Traveling in sheffield:
cab, bus,
sheffield social and arts:
ART, ZOO, RUM, JAM, MAP, PIE
Random words:
PIG, SKY, TAG
There's a big list here: http://www.yak.net/kablooey/scrabble/3letterwords.html
I was thinking of PC too, but most of these you can just add an extra word like PC Computer, or Zoo Animal, Rum Drink, etc. Athough it wont always pull up the same list
Hi guys, a couple of posts have been removed from this thread - they were helpful but not what I was after - I'm after specific 3 letter (not 2) words that you think would be useful for the search facility to accept. I am *not* looking for long lists, just some common words that you personally would like (remember, 3 letter not 2!). Cheers :)
All you do is use * (star) and it works fine Geoff :)

Man and Van would appear to be recurrent searches.
