View Full Version : Do bald men do it for you?
royjames 07-04-2005, 12:22 Hi I thought I might ask the ladies on here if they are attracted to bald men more than men with hair.
I as a baldy for the last 3 yrs have certainly noticed that I get more attention now I shave my head.
I would recomend it to all you guys who want a little extra attention from the ladies.
As long as its only his head thats bald I'm not fussed. Wouldn't like a totally hairless bloke! :gag:
x_LoUiSe_x 07-04-2005, 12:40 it depends, sumtime young guys with shaved heads can look quite nice, but old men with bald heads? hmm....... lol
although last years when my fella shaved his head i didnt like it! lol he looked sooooooooooo weird, so i made him grow it back but i guess when he's old n wrinkly n properly bald i'll still have to like him! lol :P

Cheeky monkey :hihi:
bald doesn't really work for me.
i do have a thing for shaved heads though so if the bits that are left are shaved then maybe it could work...
royjames 07-04-2005, 12:58 Yes its my fault I should have said men with shaved heads:confused:
FairyNormal 07-04-2005, 14:47 I think bald men and men with shaved head are attractive depending on their general style.
If they have the shaved head/thug look then I don't find that attractive at all.
Men who are balding and do the awful comb over or let it grow really long at the back and sides just look stupid. It's much nicer to shave it or keep it really short. I think that does look attractive.
Don`t mind either way.
Just can`t stand the Comb over or the merry monk look!
Cutglass 07-04-2005, 14:50 loved shaved head on fit bloke, but not old guy with beer belly and shiny bald bits.
EXCUSE ME!!!!
The term is 'foliclly challenged' ;)

I don't know if anyone remembers the character Baldy Man from a few years back? He was played by Gregor Fisher (Rab C Nesbitt) and kept trying to get his picture taken in a photo booth. He was horribly bald apart from these really long, greasy strands of hair that he kept trying to do a comb-over with.
I felt physically sick when I saw him and refused to look at him again! :gag: :gag: :gag: Just made my skin crawl!

Nope. No joke. There is/was a whole news group called alt.sexy.bald.captains on usenet.

What about Bruce Willis - it seems to suit him. It even suited Demi Moore in GI Jane when she had her head shaved.
redrobbo 07-04-2005, 16:14 It's not just the ladies who are attracted to men who shave their head royjames. My partner shaves his head, and I find him very attractive - and yes, I'm a guy as well. Am I allowed to vote in this poll Roy?
royjames 07-04-2005, 16:21 Hey up Red,just call me roy everyone else does,as to you voting of course you can feel free to do so.
I love bald headed men (within reason obviously! Not too old or fat but just right!)
I just love to touch 'em, and rub 'em and mmmmmmmmmmm!
I don't know if i would go out looking for a bald man, but if i fancied the guy it wouldn't stop me.. i do like older men as i think a receding hair line can be really sexy!!
BoroughGal 07-04-2005, 17:34 I didn't like it until I met my (shaved head-ed) other half. Now I find it definately attractive on him, and sometimes attractive on others.

Urgghh, Nomme, how could you??!! Horrible, horrible! I feel quite ill now :gag: :gag:
Still, you did warn me, after all. I suspected something of the kind, but suddenly seeing him like that was still a nasty shock! :suspect:
Now Patrick Stewart is a different matter entirely - there's a sexy bald man (and you won't hear me say that often!)

fruit&nut 07-04-2005, 19:03 on men under 40 it looks ok,not sure older than that,lol
Badjogger 07-04-2005, 19:08 I think if you are bald, it is better to be bald than get a crap wig or toupee! I used to have a teacher at school who wore a toupee that was a completely different colour to his real hair. His real hair was brown and he had gone and got a ginger toupee. Of all the daft things to do.
OH! Nomme how could you? I'm a hetro bloke and I think that photo's grose. So what must women think? :shakes:

That must be exhausting Nick! No wonder you look so tired on 'Hot or Not'! :P ;)
SpiderPete 10-11-2005, 20:30 Oh yes bald men do it for me, dunno why, they just do, Parick Stewart for instance, or maybe he is just a good actor.
Soon-to-be-ex-hubby has great handfuls of silver Einsteinesque curls normally, along with a beard. Imagine my surprise when he turned up from a long trip to North Africa, where he'd caught headlice in a dive of a hotel while on tour, totally clean shaven and bald (well, he still had eyebrows).
I arrived to pick him up and there was this 'thug' smoking his pipe and wearing his clogs. I had to warn his kids before I brought him home, and even then his daughter (normally a daddy's girl) burst into tears and ran away when he tried to give her a hug.
Some people just aren't meant to be bald.
HappyHoosier 10-11-2005, 21:21 I think it depends on the shape of one's head.
discovery 10-11-2005, 21:27 Baldness definitely doesn't do it for me.
I like a no1 shaved and tanned head ,who happens to look like Grant Mitchell!
LellyBee 10-11-2005, 22:41 Think shaved heads suit most guys but like Happy Hoosier suggests, it really does depend on the shape of their head ;)
Myself, I like either shaved or long hair, but definitely not the thinning on top look tho :)
Lindseyw 10-11-2005, 22:43 I love the short or shaven builder look ......like a grant mitchell thing
