Am I the minority or is there anyone else out there who didn't get one of these booklets that the government apparently gave every resident of the UK....

I'm assuming it's everything I was taught in the army anyway, without a few things that civvies can't do like don the S10 and take cover under a tree while coating there bodies in fullers earth...lol

but I pay these git's council tax and all the other taxes they take from me under force so I want my £2.50's worth of paper off em...lol

if ur that desperate to have one there is a phone number sumwhere to get one :P

but like phil sed there wasnt much in it neway.

just the usual make sure uve got pleanty of water (i.e fill up the bath) seal windows and doors ect, have a wind-up or battery powered radio with extra batteries.

all in case of terroist attacks

Not just in case of terrorist attack.

The emergency could be a big accident (say at a chemical plant, or an airoplane) or weather based (flooding or hurricane/strong winds).

I remember partaking in a Nuclear Biological & Chemical warfare course (some years ago) and whilst decontaminating my body before being able to take a 'barry white'.... (you need to know I was wearing a full NBC kit including gloves, helmet and padded suit). after patting myself down fully I remember opening my eyes to realise I had been using a packet of ration biscuits and not the said pad. Anyway dont count on me in a 'situation' and to think I have all these skills in case of a major disaster

Forget tapeing up the windows...... WE'LL ALL DIE ANYWAY....

or will awake to find ourselves morphing into two headed dribbling freaks.

unfortunately the essential freezer rations are all gone although the dogs are fattening up nicely....:heyhey:

It really is like 'when the wind blows' and she has left a cake in the oven or something isn't it! such a waste of time it really is.. i think one line says "use your common sense" think us lot on this forum will be ok then (ehmm!).
