Can anyone help know little information on Joseph Yeardley his side of the family to my knowledge split from the main body of the family who still live in the Outibridge/High green area.

Do you have any other bits of information that would help us to identify him - in particular can you give us some idea of his dates? Do you know the names of any wife/children? Hugh Asaw 06-06-2008, 02:34 PM Born in 1903 married Nellie Hill in 1924 had a son called Denis in the same year. Divorced within 5 years. Nellie moved to Manchester, joseph remarried a lady by the name of Lillian(don't know surname). Lived up Crookes in 50's. he also died around that time alsohe was deaf. I have tracked Nellie down and got thatside of the tree though one of the family over there. Have you got Joseph's birth certificate to say who his parents were so we can find them in the 1901 census. Asaw 06-06-2008, 08:26 PM No I have not found out who Joseph's parents were. Many thanks for your help I am a novice at this The best way to sort out the dilemma is to order the certificates for both the marriage and the birth. These will tell you the father of Joseph and confirm if you have the right Joseph marrying Eleanor. Lillian could be her middle name or just the name she was know by. I will double check if I can find another one first.
