Hi there!

Thought I would put up a post as I am keen on reading books and have a big interest in creative writing, I am actuallly going to go and take some evening classes at sheffield uni on creative writing!

I am 23 and looking for some like-minded people around my age or a little older who would either be interested in or have already formed a book group/wriing group etc that I could join?

Drop me a line if u interested or can point me elsewhere!

Amy

Hi Amy!

I would be very interested if you formed/found a small writers group in the Hillsborough/Walkley area. I am 28, I hope that falls into your definition of 'a little older'.

Cool!

Have not had many other responses as yet, but will see if any more interest comes in, and will keep looking!

Cheers!

Greetings!
Have also been thinking of joining a group in that area but am probably too old at 33! Best of luck anyway.
Cheers!
John.

Since when has 33 been old?

I think we should start thinking about setting a time and place to see who turns up for an introduce yourself session... (Even if it's just in the park, with a book.)

Just a thought

Oh come on John scott- I'm fifty and go to wrting groups where there are people even older than me!
I find mixed age groups much better anyway.
Susan Eliot Wright runs great courses down in Hillsborough, and posts details on here. I can recommend them to beginners or experienced writers.
