I've got a mild case of dandruff .
Can any one suggest any good and relatively cheap dandruff remedies or goods??
cheers

I only wash my hair a couple of times a week. Wilko's dandruff shampoo normally keeps me clear.

Selsun shampoo - get it from most chemist. It works.
Try Bodyshop Tea Tree Shampoo, not cheap but excellent for scalp probs. Don't use supermarket or chemist brands as they only contain tea tree fragrance and not the oil.
It smells like disinfectant but it is marvelous stuff. Parents note, it's also brill for keeping headlice away.

I don't actually suffer from dandruff but I know someone who does and the treatment I recommend is "Snake oil scalp bar" by Lush. Its pretty cheap and lasts ages and one added benefit: it needs to be massaged in!!! So get your partner involved in rubbing your poorly scalp!
The shampoo I would recommend is head and shoulders. I got a free sample off the net and even though I don't need to use it, it does leave the scalp feeling very clean and almost tingly!

I never had dandruff, and then once by accident I bought anti-dandruff shampoo by mistake. Once I finished the bottle and stopped using it I developed really bad dandruff!! It took about 6 months for it to clear up
So *don't* use anti-dandruff shampoo if you don't need it, cos for me it *caused* dandruff. Not impressed!

Neutrogena T/Gel theraputic shampoo

I don't get dandruff anymore. Not since I went bald.
Don't recommend it to everybody though, especially the girls.

My hairdresser told me coal tar too. I have no idea what it is either. But apparantly any shampoo with it in a concentrated form should work. Can you get Denorex brand. Its very good and makes your scalp tingle.
