Anyone here completed their payroll year-end only to go on-line and try to submit the figures through the Government Gateway?

As usual, despite all the efforts to get businesses involved in internet submissions, there's a 'technical hitch' meaning the figures can't be submitted. This is the second year I've used the system but the first time I've encountered any problems.

Get your act together!

I can't process this week's wages until the figures have been accepted (not quite true, but I'm not messing around with back-ups and restores just yet).

S'pose I'll have to bide my time on here until it works!

If you use Sage V11 you can carry on doing your payroll without having to submit. We are in financial year end at moment so theres no chance of me doing payroll year end for another couple of weeks. But Ive managed to process this weeks new year payroll with no problems!
