View Full Version : Who is the most annoying movie character?
having recently watched 'happy go lucky' and had to fight the urge not to gouge out my own eyes so as to not see the irritating girly main character, I wondered who really takes the cake as the most annoying irritating character out there in movie land?
jar jar binks is an obvious one I guess! Any thoughts?

Grim Reaper 28-05-2008, 12:09 I'm also going with Jar Jar Binks I'm afraid. :gag::gag:
BasilRathbon 28-05-2008, 12:38 Jesus of Nazereth in the film of the same name. No way could a character so superior and sanctimonious ever exist in real life.
Most annoying movie character? Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story... He was so far up his own bottom!

You're just jealous because Buzz can "fly" and you can't :|

.....the most annoying woman in the most pathetic excuse for a film the world has ever known.
PuressenceUK 28-05-2008, 21:27 The love interest from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. You wanted that moaning cow dead after the first minutes exposure to her whinging.

Ah, but those eyes Basil. I was 16 years old and found it very confusing. Convent girls are not supposed to fancy Jesus!
Beakerzoid 29-05-2008, 04:35 For unintentional annoying it has to be Jar Jar Binks. To think Lucas tried to justify the character by stating that "Star Wars was and always will be for kids primarily" and then went on to make the darker Episode 3 using the excuse that Star Wars was not just for kids and the films have grown with their audience!!!
As for intentional annoying, Ruby Rhod from 5th Element! Genius creation that had the audience cringing and frustrated for all the right reasons.
Exterminate 30-05-2008, 10:02 Keira Knightly for her portrayal of Elizabeth Bennett in 'Pride and Prejudice'. The whole movie was an absolute travesty, bearing little if any resemblance to the book or wonderful BBC version. She seemed to think all she had to do was pout, sneer and be rude to portray one of the most loved characters in English literature. Even the old version with Laurence Olivier was vastly superior.
It has to be Pee Wee Herman lol
Daniel Craig as BOnd,Janes BOnd.

Yuck, pouting is all she ever seems to do:gag:
I would go for Keira again, as Elizabeth Swan in Pirates of the Caribbean. Love the films, but she irritates the hell out of me!

Yes its the irritation factor! If she's in a movie I think twice about going to see it, though she wasn't too bad in 'Atonement'
