I currently play Team Fortress Classic a little bit of CS (but not much it bores me) I only really play first person shooters in fact that's all I play.

I used to play Planetside but Sony ruined it by introducing huge robots I loved the game and the community I miss it.

So im now back playing the classics I imagine a lot of people play the Everquest type games unfortunatly I cant get into the wizard and orc type games they arent for me.

So what do you guys play online do you play from home or have you used a net cafe and had a group?

Would like to go to a LAN event but ive never heard of one around here but maybe im not looking hard enough.

i used to play CS religiously had my own clan at one bit, sad i know lol

i love warcraft too. completed call of duty but couldnt get into it on multiplayer. i would love to play WoW but i dont have the time to spend on it unfortunately :(

I was the same with Planetside it occupied my waking moment if I wasnt posting on the forums from work I was playing the game.

But on the plus side I made some good friends through the game and friends in other counties.

I play alot of counter-strike, ragnarok online, call of duty and hl2.
I used to play at the frag cafe nearly every week as the lan gaming and internet connection was great. but when they moved it i never made the effort to find it again, infact any1 here kno where it is now?

what's HL2 like to play online?? my mate has it on his pc and from what i've seen it must be the best game ever made!!!!!!

but it's single player - how does multiplayer work.....???

i luv gaming by the way but the only game i play online is chess!!! (www.chess.net) :blush:

i do have nearly a 1900 rating for blitz though which isn't bad considering Grand Masters rate at about 2300+ :thumbsup:

well its online just for a little fun really, its a big deathmatch with gravity gun and a few normal guns and its just most kills wins. Its just fun watching a toilet flying towards u at high speeds right before it clonks you on the head and kills you :clap:

If you report it using the correct method... sure.

I've recently started playing x-kings: http://www.x-kings.com It's good fun but you can only play once a day because it takes a while for moves to accumulate.

Playing Anarchy Online at the moment as it's totally free, but i'm waiting for WoW to be re-released in the uk (15th April) and then i'll be playing that.

Call of Duty good multiplayer game with a big community.

Half Life 2 has a couple of good mods like HL2 deathmatch
and CS source but its whats in the pipeline that is going to be good Fortress Forever (www.fortress-forever.com) is one that springs to mind we will have to wai and see.

All HL2 Mods will be free to play.

I used to play a few clan matches on Doom 2 a few years back.

Nowadays though I'm too busy to spend a lot of time playing online games even though I have Xbox Live.

Quake 3 Arean, i play freez rail on it :D its sooooooooo much fun!

Use to play a lot of CS, BF 1942 (Vanilla, Desert Combat, Eve of Destruction), BFV & COD.

...at the mo though I'm mainly playing City of Heroes.

Anarchy Online is free for some reason until 2006, i think the URL is www.anarchy-online.com where you can download the game (850meg) and signup for a free account.

WTF?! 850 Mb?! Even on Broadband that would take at least a full day to download.

Nobody with dial up would even bother, and trust me there's still a LOT of online gamers out there stuck with 56k or less dial up cos they can't get broadband (damn you BT! :mad: )

I can download 700mb in under 2 hours. It wouldnt take that long with a decent connection.

yea it took me just over 2 hours to download, and after all that i dont even like the game :( too confusing i died 4 times in the first half an hour of playing. im sticking to the games i know.

Yeah i'm not that impressed with Anarchy Online either, i'm only playing it because it's free. A week today and World of Warcraft is out again so i'll be playing that for a while.

I've been playing Team Fortress Classic and NeoTF (if i can find a server) for a long time, though haven't played for a long time.

I did try playing CS once or twice but i would usually chuck the mouse across the room when someone rounded a corner so i was never very good :rolleyes: also i'm not that fast at aiming and moving and being on 56k didn't help either. :(

Also played Unreal Tournament and Natural Selection (Half life mod)


Also an avid MUD player and flash games too.

I've been paying Return to Castle Wolfenstein online for ages. It's a great game and totally free. You can download it from here (http://games.activision.com/games/wolfenstein/) . It's a WWII game which has a great online community. :clap:
