If you are at the ATM you are vulnerable to being mugged when you walk away. Take your bank card in a little booklet, then, when you are looking at your balance, stand back a little, put your hands on your hips, sigh really loudly and shake your head, in a an exaggerated way. When you get your money out, quickly slip it into the book (so that no-one can see you do it), and walk away looking cross and upset, shaking your head.

Anyone watching will think you have not been able to get any money out, thus leaving you less likely to get mugged!

With respect. . muggers maybe crazy, lunartics, outta their heads on whatever. . but they aint completely stupid.

I'm sure anyone could spot bad acting a mile off..

To stop this problem I have invented a portable ATM to stop the threat of being mugged. What's brilliant about it is that you don't even need a card reducing still further the risk of being attacked. Made out of leather it fits neatly into your trouser pocket or purse. Anytime you want to get your cash out you find a secure spot open the stud fastening and extract the amount you need and what's more you will not be charged for your withdrawl. Mine actually cooks, irons, vacuums etc, and moves under her own steam wherever I go.:thumbsup:

I tried this last night - only I genuinely couldn't get any money out! What ATM do recommend I use? Yours sounds much better than mine! :heyhey:

Yeah but your more likely to get t****d form the guy behind you for taking so long at the machine!!

As for not getting mugged, i find that being that being 6'4" works kinda well. :P
