I have just been unreliably informed by my mum that the Sicey pub at Shiregreen is to be demolished to make way for houses.

Does anyone know anything about this?

It doesn`t surprise me in light of recent events ,its just we could do with an half decent pub in the area that wasn`t a sh*t tip ,full of underage drinkers.

At the rate developers are building new homes up there, I wouldn't be surprised if the pub was flattened to make way, regardless of the recent shootings.

Anyone else heard that the Sicey Hotel on the Shiregreen is to close in four weeks time?

What about the cricket ground and club. It is right behind the Sicey.
