I have lost the little envelope symbol in the system tray that tells me i have new mail and i cant for the life of me remember where the option is to restore it???

Don't use OE, only OL but if it's the same then it's in tools > options > email options > advanced email options

Nope, i have just had a look and there is no similarity between the 2 @ all is there....i'm in the process of looking but in the meantime I advise using outlook instead as it's much easier to navigate...lol

Further to my last I don't believe you can do it using OE, only OL
