There's lots of different breeds of rabbits. Are you looking for any particular type?

Hi leanne, from personal experience of many cats, rabbits and hamsters, I would always go for males. They are more docile and friendly and less likely to be agressive and bite (a bit like humans lol).

I know other pet-owners may have different experiences to mine, but I thought it was worth mentioning!

Enjoy your bunny when you get it! :D

I've usually found this too, although there's always an exception to the rule

I got my rabbit from the RSPCA they often have unwanted ones looking for homes.

I too have always found males to be the most companionable gender but as the OP is sensibly getting a pair of these very sociable animals a mixed sex pair (who must both be neutered) is the best combination.

Congratulations on your new additions. :)
