I read this article in the paper and thought some of you might like to see it and be amazed to see a baby at only just over half the usual gestation.
How tiny but how adorable.
It provokes a lot of discussion and policitcs which I won't deal with here, I wanted mostly to show others the pictures.

Omg, those tiny feet, it certainly makes u think

It blows you away, doesn't it? The picture of her next to the biro still makes it hard to comprehend...you think they must just have found a really BIG biro, she can't really be that small...

The next mad realisation being that something verylike her is swimming around in my belly - that's what he looks like about now! (tho he's a couple of weeks older)

So very tiny, and yet she survived. Amazing. Makes you wonder how many more would survive if it was policy to treat them at that age...

Plenty to think about.

I hadn't realised doctors wouldn't even try to keep babies alive if they were born before 24 weeks. There's no choice for the parents there.

Her feet are like cola bottles! That shows how tiny she was! :o And our lad had such huge feet he had to have size 6-9 months socks from birth! :o
