Ok let me explain we have decided to get another puppy.

We already have a lovely staffy x and would like another. I bought my original for £30 of a lady whos bitch had got out and been very very naughty.

Now heres my situation I dont want a kc breed because I dont want to pay out lots of money (im tight).

We cant approach rescues as they 1 dont like it we already have a dog and 2 cant come and do homechecks when we are in and the back is so secure they cant come look without us unlocking the gates.

What I would like is another staffy x to give a really good home and my other dog wants a brother or sister to play with.:D

There are loads to chose from in the dog pound, a young male might go well with yours.

I've seen a couple of people on here saying they've had staffy puppies recently, so you might be lucky :D

enquire at rain rescue on the forum, Jacquie is really helpful. Otherwise go to rotherham dog rescue, they are able to do homechecks up until 8pm at night and allow you to walk a dog before agreeing to adopt. They allow you to take your own dog to meet your potential foster dog to see if they get along. Do be careful though, they try to get away with not microchipping and doing the second vaccination, which is supposed to be included in the adoption fee. They arn't snooty at all and they do have quite a few staffys/staffy cross dogs at the moment. Good luck

I've just been lookin on rainrescue site - I'm shocked n stunned at how many staff and staff crosses there are in the sheffield pound! Why oh why do people keep breeding the poor things?

CV - pm me if you are still looking and tell me what you are after

ALL the pounds are in nightmare situation at the moment. We are all desperately trying to find places for staffys - and so many dogs are at a put to sleep situation because kennels are full of these types of dogs.

I have an older staffy bitch (nana - aka gummy cos she no teeth), Layla - a young girl who has had little training - and Brian - a very sad case in deed. There are loads loads more.

Our web site pics for sheffield are nearly 3 weeks out of date - in the mean time - the kennels now have (or did yesterday) nearly 50 dogs.

Thats 50 DOGS that the people of Sheffield have kicked out ready for the holidays - it makes me sick to my teeth.

Just going to start another thread to raise the awareness.
We are now paying for boarding of 4 dogs and always looking for both financial and physical help cos its down to just me which is pathetic.
(moan over for the time being anyway)
