Hi all :)

I'm new, so I don't know if this is the correct forum to ask this, but hear goes.
I am wanting to move to Sheffield and I have taken a fancy to the West One Apartments. Now, does anyone know if the developers are building anymore apartments? I'm having a hard time trying to find one for sale ya see.
Is there any Estate Agents in Sheffield that specifically deals with those apartments?

I'm not sure who has developed them either, does anyone know who does, as I am wanting more information on them but am having a hard time finding anything on them to be honest (would probably be easier if I lived in Sheffield maybe)

But yeah, thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from anyone with more information on them :)

Thank You

Hi all,

as there seems to be a lot of people unaware of the new West One development in the city I thought I would just clarify what is happening.
The first phase is now complete - and retailers + bar/restaurants open for business are:

Budgens - supermarket
Revolution - bar
East One - noodle bar
Brother to Brother - fashion
Antibo - italian restaurant
Las Iguanas - South American bar
Domazo - Italian fashion
Prego - furniture
Form - interior lifestyle (furniture + home accs + gifts)
Utopia - coffee shop

The second phase (more apartments + The Cage gym) is due for completion early next year.

If you haven't been yet then you should check it out - Sheffield Chamber of Trade refer to the development as Sheffields best kept secret!!
There is an open evening planned for November 27th too.

If you have been then I would be keen to hear your feedback.

Cheers
John

Been to:

Revolution
Great vodka bar, even if it is a little pricey for "normal" drinks - much bigger than the old one on Mappin Street (which I believe is still open). The queue gets quite long later on a Saturday night though.

Las Iguanas
Been to this and had no problem with the food or service - but I've heard reports of other people who would disagree.

Form
Great shop, but I didn't have enough money to buy anything other than a card for my mate's birthday. Most of the stuff is really modern and I'd love to own all of it... maybe one day, eh? :D

Overall, the development looks good though.

Small portions... very bad service on my visit.

I will merge this topic with one of the many other West One topics.

Edit: Merge done
