I was appalled last night at his reaction to losing.
We try to teach our children about being a good sport, it's the taking part not the winning that counts. And there he is bawling away for all to see.
Now I like to see a man cry. Most of the time I like to be the cause of it. But it seems that in sport we ought to be able to hide our emotions a little better.
I mean if the lasses on "I'd do anything...." can have that necklace ripped off and still sing a belter of a song, surely the Captain of England can wait until the dressing room to whip out his hankie!
