if your amp is set up with "Stereo Mode: 4 Ohms: 450 Watts RMS x 2" as quoted on a spec sheet for amp,
then those speakers should be ok.
Obviously the amp should be slightly underpowered so as not to destroy the speakers.

There seem to be two trains of thought on this. The other way of looking at it is you're going to do just as much damage to speakers by running an underpowered amp at full pelt because of the amount of distortion it will put out.
8ohm @ 500 watts is overkill for that amp, you want 8ohm at 400 max ideally...
