Its a nice area to live although theres a high student population - which may or may not be an issue for you :)

I used to live there myself and the only complaint I ever had was that shopping was a hassle - at the time I didn;t have a car and going up to Crookes or down to Hillsborough got quite irritating.

its a lovely place nice students, and nice shops, try beanies, I'm not sure what rd thats on, next door to that theres a shop called ed and harrys shop of love, they do free shroom delivery:D

walkley is very nice... not quite as busy or expensive as crookes, some nice pubs. Shops aren't too great... not sure about schools or anything, but i guess you're not worried just yet.
