I have a whippet laid next to me desperately trying to keep his eyes open and not sleep

It's failing miserably but I have to admit, I've never seen a dog sleep in this position!!

I had a lurcher / collie cross once, and she'd curl up next to me on the sofa.

She even foretold when one of my mates was pregnant, cos she insisted on curling up on my mate's stomach as soon as she ever sat down. It was weeks before my mate found out she was pregnant!

My dog had never done that to anyone before, and to my knowledge, never did it again. Unfortunately, I had to find her a new home, and as far as I know, she's still living with a loving family.

My sister had a Ridgeback Boxer cross who used to fall asleep sat upright if he had to concentrate on anything.
Aww bless him, he died last year.

my staffy does it all the time its hillarious she sits upright on your need and falls asleep she will start leaning to one side till she nearly falls then realises and wakes up only to shut her eyes and do it all over again!

and our boxer will fall asleep but go in to really deep sleeps then fall of the sete and not even notice:hihi: hours of fun with them 2 i tell you!
