Hi
I am going to be living in a Royal Plaza from June this year. There will be two of us in it but we only have one parking space.
Does anyone know if there are spaces for sale or rent in Royal Plaza or close by?
Thanks for help

For the cost of living at Royal Plaza.. I would have thought they would have AT LEAST given you a parking spot :loopy:

Theres about 160 flats in RP, and about 120 parking spaces - crazy? Yep...but not an accident. West One is the same. :loopy:
I was told once that it was a condition of the planning consent that these developments wouldnt add to city-centre congestion.
Council: These flats will bring more cars into town.
Devloper: No they wont - people will live without the need for cars!
Council: You wont need 1 per flat then will you?
Developer: umm...guess not...*scribble*
.
[time passes]
.
Resident: erm...i have 2 cars
Developer : *doh*
And so it came to pass...
Might be an urban myth....but it sounds plausible :P
In reply to the OP - i think there is a place where you can rent spaces down near the bottom of fitzwiliam street - past ChaChars and kind of opposite stokes tiles. Dunno if they have available space tho...or how much they charge...
good luck!

Try doing a google search for the Sheffield free exchange, I think a guy had a space at Royal Plaza to rent last time I was on it. It was under the to let section.
West One is £75 a month unless your willing to pay more rent to get a spot :gag:

i think the idea with city living is that you dont actually need a car.

Yeah sure if you actually work in the city! But many people don't, but choose to live in places like West One because they are quite new etc
