Hi, does anyone know of any charity fun run type things as I have just started running and would like (in a few months) to do some kind of fun run to keep me motivated to keep running regularly and something to build up to - although not too far! Thanks

Theres the Sheffield Run for Life on May 22nd. It's just 5k and proceeds go to Cancer Research I think. It's costs about £8 to join....actually only if you are female. See http://www.raceforlife.org/

There's Sheffield half Marathon plus 3k fun run on 1st May or GNR on 18th September - you could run for the British Red Cross! Let me know if you would like more details or a sponsorship pack!
