hiya
ive got a very rare date with someone from out of sheffield and we've agreed on an informal date - coffee bar type place - can anyone recommend anywhere that preferably also serves alcohol (for my nerves) and food - just in case it does go well and we stay on later!!!

Not sure of a coffee shop that serves alcohol. Would a bar such as Green Room or Riverside suit?

hiya - ive no idea what or where these places are!! The last time I went out properly Henry's was still the place to be!
I think I just mean somewhere to get a coffee or drink!

I was going to say somewhere like Riverside suit or Royal Victori at wicker, i know its an hotel but do good food & drinks and it is relxing inside

What time is the date? If it's early afternoon the Lounge (near the University end of west street) serves quality alcohol and delicious food. The food stops at 3pm though I do believe.

The Priory does tea, coffee and is a pu that sells excellent food. It's near the Cathedral.

You could try the crucible. They have a bar/cafe thing I think. Isn't their also one at Victoria Quays? Blue something
