Hi, some of you may be aware of a relatively new phenomenon called trash the dress. For those women who don't want to give their special wedding dress away to charity and they don't just want to zip it in a bag and shove it at the back of their wardrobe. They put them back on (as long as they still fit!) and spend the day with a photographer doing all the unrestricted things they couldn't do on the big day, essentially wrecking their wedding dress. These make for really interesting fashion style portraits (see www.trashthedress.com for examples). I'm a fashion photographer and this idea really appeals to me, I understand this won't appeal to everyone, but if there is anyone in sheffield who is interest in partaking in such a shoot please let me know. The first few I shalln't charge for as I build up a portfolio.
Annie.

I love trash the dress here are two I did earlier this year with Katy from serendipity photography. They are so much fun to do, and you can also do a cherish/rock the dress if you dont want to full on trash it!

we did this after our wedding but I wasn't happy with it as a felt they we're a bit bland. Not sure that our photographer understood the concept too well and i was disapointed with the editing.
If you need a guinea pig we'd love to have a second chance at this.

Hi,
Does anyone/know of anyone who has done a 'trash your wedding dress' shoot, and would be willing to talk about it?
I'm hoping to do a little radio feature on it (would be audio recorded but not to broadcast, just for portfolio), as part of my university course.
Primarily looking to talk to someone who has trashed it as opposed to the 'rock my wedding dress shoot'.
Please add to the thread if you are interested in talking about it and helping me out.
It would be much appreciated.
