Just looking at my invoice for this year, and there's a charge for having water.

My allotment is on Hagg Hill, bottom plots. I'm on the first lane on the left, as you go up the hill on. Is there a communal stand pipe or should I have my own supply?

If its communal, how do I get use of it?:help:

Cheers

Hi Jim,

there are several 'taps' along each row. These are usually located underground these days and you need a connector to attach a hose to them - bit like a washing machine fitting. If you look for the small drain covers along the row (may even have a 'W' marked on it), or ask anyone along the row. Failing that, the stream a bit further along... :hihi:

It was the stream last week Rob!

Have seen the drain covers, actually thought they were for specific plots.

I'll take a look next time I'm up.

Cheers
