Can anybody reccomend a removal company, preferably one that will supply boxes/tape in the price?

Moving from a 3bed semi so need a van big enough to shift a fair bit of stuff

Thanks in advance

Hi,
Try Avante Removals. They do removals all over Sheffield and supply boxes, tape, bubble wrap at discounts with free delivery. Also, they supply plastic removal crates for free, you just pay a deposit which is refunded when they are returned. Much more enviromentally friendly, cheaper and no boxes to get rid of!! If you search Avante on the forum, you will see some good feed-back. 0800 043 2810. We used them just before Christmas.

Shop around and ensure that whoever you choose are registered with a good trade body such as The British Association of Removers (BAR). Also make sure your move is insured.

You should be able to get a good deal at the moment. Sheffield removers are crying out for work and will probably chuck in boxes and packaging materials for Free.

Take full advantage of this downturn in the property market.

You could always get the boxes/tape seperately. I bought some from mad4boxes.co.uk as it turned out cheaper than through the removals company..

If i box everything up can you give me a quote for the removal? only thing is I know Im going from Longley but not sure where to! but it will be in Sheffield

Have you got a set rate per van or do you charge by distance ETC.

Im not sure how removal vans work as ive only ever moved a full house from Liverpool to Sheffield which was obviously very different and we also agreed a cash price!
