Hi all. I'm getting stressed out even though it's not my wedding.
Okay, first of all, my sister saw a dress in a magazine, and I've been trying to find the particular one, or something of a similar style.
I think she knows her body shape well, whereas I'm not into these particular fine details.

Can someone point me in the right direction to find the dress, and to see if there are something on the market, still?

The only detail I have is:
By Elie Saab
It's a mermaid dress (I didn't even knew it had a name for the shape), with some kind of V neckline.

I found some Elie Saab dress in Pronovias, but I can't find the right one in the magazine. I don't undestand the dress business, and where you are suppose to find the dress again in reality.

Any advice or help is appreciated.

I've been looking at the http://www.styleshake.com/, and it's a brilliant website! I don't think she would go for her own wedding dress from there, since she seems so set on this particular dress. I may get the bridesmaid ones from there which fits and simple, and saves time.

Try looking on http://www.eliesaab.com/site.aspx to find the dress she saw, note down the style number and then see if pronovias can order it for you, or do a google search to see if any stores have it in stock to look at. Hope you find it.

I think I might have spotted it, is it dress number 40 from the Spring/Summer 07 Couture range, described as Mermaid Wedding Dress? If it is this dress it looks absolutely amazing! They have a contacts section, maybe you could ask them if they have a UK stockist of this dress.

It's not that dress. I had a look on the Elie Sab website, and it doesn't show the dress. I thought he only designed wedding dresses, so I only skimmed one or two collection on there. Cos they don't look like the one in the magazine.

In the magazine, the girl mentioned that she got the dress from The Wedding Dress Shop. I don't know whether this is based in London or not, but I googled this, and I can't find one with the Elie Saab label on it. So many shops with this title.

The Pronovias collection must be new, cos I can't see this dress there either. I call it the mermaid shape, cos I got that shape from another website. It's a small train, with a V shape front, and not off the shoulders. I should've written down the name of the magazine, but it's down in London now. lol... It's like looking for a needle in the haystack. :hihi:
