Does anyone remember this bloke? He'd always arrive in Rebels on his own and I never saw him speak to or acknowledge anyone in any way. A really odd guy. He was tall and thin, about 40 with a wooly hat pulled down over his eyes and a long beard. His party piece was to run the whole length of the club spinning around and jumping onto seats wildly thrashing his invisible guitar. One day he stopped coming and I've not seen him since. does anyone know his story?

I remember doing the Humptyback mosh in rebels which basically was getting on someones back and battling with other likeminded people, armed with newspapers and beating the crap out of each other. Pretty much akin to jousting really, only with very drunk participants and without the flair and finesse.
Seem to remember the management weren't that impressed, not suprisingly I suppose.
Don't know his story, but I remember him from 89-90 ish
Have you spotted him on MuddyCoffee's Rebel's website?
Jousting? When did this go off?

Around 87-88, if you were a regular around then you must have seen it. Generally performed on Wednesday and Thursday night when it wasn't as busy.

Wow,I'd Forgot About Him.
You're Right,He Didn't Speak To Many People Did He? I Think He May Have Spoke To A Couple Of Buddies Of Mine,I'll Ask Them Next Week,See What I Can Find Out For You.
We Used To Call Him Harley (I Think),Mainly Because I Think That Wooly Hat He Wore Said "Harley" On It.He Mainly Hung Around The Top Pillar Where We Stood "Drinkin' Barley Wine & Ogling The Chicks".
I Can Also,Remember A Mate Of Mine Starting A Trend Of Sitting Down To Headbang Whenever Lez Played Pink Floyd.Which On Rebels' Floor Wasn't The Best Idea At 1:30!
