View Full Version : G string knickers hung out of jeans.
Dont know about anyone else but yukk.- cant stand to see it.
saw a teenager yesterday parading best g strings way up above jeans.
she really thought she looked cool and when she got off the bus she hutched the g strings up more just for show.
god how tacky, tarty and utterly tasteless.
what happenned to the element of mystery.
Kthebean 03-04-2005, 11:32 It is as bad as lads who wear their jeans round their knees to show off their calvin kleins. In my head I sound like my mother "Pull your bloody trousers up"
 Its just not very nice.
I'm not understanding why guys want to show their boxers off... my little bro does it, his boxers up to his ribs and his jeans round his ankles... whats the point?? I'm not exactly past it at 20 but I do think its rather pointless... underwear is there to keep things warm and if your a guy to stop things jangling all over the place... they're only for show in the bedroom :P
Kthebean 03-04-2005, 11:40 Exactly, xafier! But you have a brother on the inside of this clique, maybe you could ask him and get back to us? Or does his fashion sense come with the usual 'grunting' method of comunication?
(I really do sound like my mother. *plans to go out more*)
yes when i wrote the post i thought god do i sound ancient.
But yes i was a teenager once and we wore all manner of things from platform shoes to skinhead wear etc, but if we'd ave gone out like that in 70s with knickers showing to all ,there would have been a lot of not so nice insults coming from the lads.

last time I asked him it was something along the lines of "its cool, everyone does it"... lol I love the logic there, like it's cool to wear boxers, and baggy jeans, dont mean we all have to do it though does it?
personally I prefer briefs :? they keep things from going all over the place which is important if you go running a lot like I do, I dont give a sod what people think about what underwear I'm wearing cus they dont see it :P the only people that see it are g/f's and I dont have one at the mo so I'm doubly not bothered... lol
malton_s5 03-04-2005, 13:01 The best name for people like that is HOOD RATS !
jst thogut i'd share a story with u.
me & a mate were working home when we saw a lad wiv his jeans rite down, so my mate whos got a huge gob shouts pull your trousers up. He heard us but ignored us. Than bout 5 minutes down the rd his trousers feel rite down to his ankles. Me & my mate sat on the floor laughing. I doubt he'll wear his trousers low again!
:hihi: :heyhey:   :D
1Man&hisBMW 03-04-2005, 13:28 wa' ya-on about... init....!
dont forget the jeans that are five sizes too big, left leg rolled up, bandana around ankle. Right jean leg tucked into Puma sock..... and with a BELT on around the thighs...!
then.... basketball players vest, over white t-shirt...
bandana on head, baseball cap at just 'off-centre'
;)
I think the trousers rolled up and bandana round the leg started off as something to do with gangs and shows which gang you are affiliated with.

I was nearly struck blind the other week while walking along Fargate.
Right in front of me a young mother was crouching while attending to a small child in a pushchair. Unfortunately, the woman's jeans were just about dropping off her, and all I could see was this enormous white a*** with a piece of cheesewire coming out of it looming in front of me.
It was such a grotesque sight that I stopped dead in my tracks and gawped.
It was like a carcrash - so awful that I could hardly tear my eyes away. You know you shouldn't look, but it's so horribly fascinating .... :gag: :gag: :gag:
StarSparkle :D
Sounds like the cleaner at our offices StarSparkle ...
She bent down the other day to unplug the hoover (in the middle of the full office) and all we could see was her a*** crack hanging out of her jeans. How nice!! (not)!
The boys at school take great delight in giving the girl's 'wedgies' as they call them - pulling their g-strings up with force from behind. This must be very painful. I have had to speak to several lads for doing this. The girls don't seem bothered though and take great delight in the attention.
Pregnant chavs urgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before any one starts on me its not the being pregnant that bothers me too much (it does a bit cos alot havn`t got a clue how to bring up kids but thats not just a chav thing) its the huge stretched marked cover bellies on show .
Somebody please tell them its not trendy, nice, attractive or remotely pleasant on the eye.
I don`t mind tight tops ,just not the cropped ones

I spotted a lad like this playing pool in Casbah last Saturday, too much lager made me give him a wedgie (can't spell but his boxers went right up to his arm pits if u get my drift) People that go around showin off their undies need to be wedgied... Sorry couldn't help it the drink made me do it.
Luckily for me he had a sense of humour
clogginchris 03-04-2005, 22:15 I've heard of a game called thong snooker.
First you have to spot a red, then a colour, and so on... If you see a white, it's foul and you're out!
Tara - I was a teenager in the 70's, so perhaps we're of a similar age. When I see a thong above a pair of jeans, the only thing I can think of (and apologies for the faint hearted....), is a sanitary belt! I'm sure that's why I find them so revolting!
kittykat 03-04-2005, 22:37 Girls have started this boxer shorts showing off thing now ive noticed. They sell boxers for girls in shops (such as topshop) although i find this very odd i agree the thongs showing above jeans thing is not a nice sight. I assume its to do with the lowering and lowering of waist bands of jeans these days. I dont, however, find thongs above jeans as bad as thongs under too mini skirts with lower buttock cheeks hanging out. Ive seen this several times lately. On the spot fines similar to those given to litterers should be given.
I wear baggy jeans and have to admit that they do drop below my boxers sometimes, but its not something i do to show off its just what happens when you wear the jeans that i do (i aint a chav before some1 accuses me im more of a skater or "mosher" as chav's like to call me) I dont want to show off my boxers (they aint expecive 1s and it looks stupid) so u can never see them as i have the baggy tshirts to cover them over. I know people have now claimed this as a fashion thing and do it to show off their undies and it anoys me. I find girls showing off their thongs nasty and have always wanted to try that dropping a pencil down the ass crack game on some unsuspecting chav :hihi:
I know this not about seeing the tops of someones pants but its is relevent, sort of.
We were in the Jumbo chinese bufet on saturday night.
There was a person in there who didnt show us her pants but instead showed the whole resterant that she had none on.
She was Im sure a lovely person but her dress sense was shocking and her friends, if they were true friends should have said something.
She was a large person (a bit like myself) But was wearing the shortest skirt ever. So short that when she got up and walked to the food area her bum was hanging out of the bottom of her skirt.
I leant over and wispered to others o the table but as half of them wern't wearing their glasses they didn't quiet see how funny she looked.
Then about twenty minutes later the lady came down to the bar for seemingly no reason then turned round and walked up the stairs.
Unfortunatly at this point my ten year old had eyeballed her and shouts (they never wisper, kids, do they) DAD LOOK AT THE BIG GIRL GOING UP THE STEPS ALL HER A**E IS HANGING OUT.
Well by now the whole of the bottom end of the resterant was laughing and the others on the table saw what I meant.
I had to have a word with the boy about tact and keeping his voice down but the a second later she pops up on the CCTV screen behind us and he's off laughing again, as was the rest of the place. How can you tell a ten year old not to laugh when fifty other diners are.
Finaly the lady comes back down the stairs showing to one and all what the front of her skirt was meant to be covering and stood at the bar to pay her bill. Well you try not to look, dont youbut you can't help your self and as I turned round all I could see was the backs of her legs and the imprint of the chair she had been sat on.
All I could think about at this point, other than trying to keep the boy from pointing and laughinging was her friends should have said something. If Im dressed like a prat I would like to think my other half would pull me to one side and sort me out.
Thats what friends and family are for.

JonJParr 04-04-2005, 12:11 Whilst we're on the subject of 'indecent exposure' perhaps someone could throw some light on why expectant mothers are increasingly opting to display their bump to the world? It's truly unnecessary.
ps: As for chavs exhibiting their thongs - wholly unnecessary!
Dj_Shadowman 04-04-2005, 12:33 Chav girls showing off thongs...its only because they think that they are god's gift to men and that we all want one - chav girl that is.....

skankys with thongs showing=not nice at all
guys with boxers showing=alright! you can tell a lot more from a guys boxers than you think, plus i used to skate a lot and people who wore their trousers like that were the cool ones and most of my friends now still do...
at my school, newfield, which is absolutely **** and has completely ruined my self confidence forever, all the rude boys who thought they were cool would wear jeans with one leg hitched up to above their knee or wear tracksuit bottoms tucked into long sports socks...ewwww

so come on, educate us all... what can you tell from a guy by his boxers which are half hanging out?
[i]at my school, newfield, which is absolutely **** and has completely ruined my self confidence forever... [/B]
Completely off subject, but why has you're school ruined your confidence forever? I'm sure you'll find it hasn't. Generally as soon as you leave school your realise that out in the big wide world small-minded school bullies tend to flounder.
The people who were "cool" at school are always those who end up with dead end jobs, far too may kids way too young, and nasty thongs poking up out of the top of their jeans when they bend over to deal with their screaming sprogs...
And now we're back to the topic of this thread. Thongs on show... Naff!
Women in boxers?!?! What?!?!?!
Maybe it's quite cute if they sleep in them, but wearing them for everyday life? Ludicrous behaviour, stick with the thongs and French Knickers :D (but don't have them on show above your jeans as someone from SF may be inclined to say nothing to you, but then go and whine about it on a public forum :) )

Nooooooooooooooooo! The last thing I want to see is some feral rat girl displaying her pasty ass - I mean who tells them they look good by having their buttocks bisected by a piece of poundland dental floss and then proudly showing it to the world?
Too many freaks and not enough circuses.
i remembered i always wear my trousers quite low but I don't wear thongs...sometimes you can see my pants yes but im no dirty skank showing half my ass
NatalieSheff 04-04-2005, 16:34 i wear boxers mostly cos they comfy and cool and yes i wear hipsters so you prob could see em. remember on AB fAB when jennifer gets hers stuck (gstring) and cuts it and leaves it in? yukyukyuk! no, not a huge fan of seeing young girls stringy pants thanks. also not a fan of seeing boys with pants MC hammer style;)
Twinkla_KayB 04-04-2005, 17:37 Are you implying that All chavs wear their thongs above their jeans, or that people that do wearb their thongs above their jeans are chavs??
come on gazb dont get your thongs in a twist its only a discussion.
probably you prefer the what you see is what you get kind of thing but most men dont im glad to say.
As whats left to see.?
No i didnt say anything to her as i was too busy laughing along with the rest of the bus passengers.
i don't mind it - well not chavs, but a good looking girly with a cool pair of hipsters with a 'subtle' hint of what she's wearing underneath is really really sexy!

Get a grip man, its just a kind fashion...how old do some of you lot sound?
I think an up herslef middle aged woman from Dore coming out of Laura Ashley and getting into her Gold car and driving to her house with 2 big stone lions at the drive to create a feel of "mansion" about the place is a million times more chav than a schoolgirl following the latest fashions on a pocket money budget.
These are the people that make me cringe, not the 14 year old with a tenner a week following her peers.
Come on admit it, who never followed some fashion which now looks ridiculous?

I suppose it's just rather uncouth to walk round exposing one's thong / boxers / arse. However, most people's gripe with chavs is not their fashion sense but rather their attitude to others. As I was walking down the street this morning one of said crettins spat a huge wad of phlegm loaded saliva into the street. How disgusting can you possibly be?
If people have a medical condition which inadvertently requires them to remove excess saliva from their mouths periodically surely they should seek expert medical advice? If not, they should keep their mouths firmly shut. Disgusting mindless beggars!

I could say exactly the same about power greedy money rich right winged Tories...."their" attitude towards others gives me a bigger gripe than a kid acting up a little. Manners doesn't disguise attitude.

Granted I'm a Tory and a successful businessman but how have you arrived at the conclusion that I'm "power greedy"? You can still be poor and well-mannered - after all, good manners cost nothing!
There really is no defence to spitting in the street!
Define manners.
I find Tory policy offensive and bad mannered, just because its said with a smile and by somebody wearing a suit doesn't mean I don't find it vulgar.
"power greedy"...I think the whole Tory manifesto makes this statement.

And this is relevant to my original posting why? After all, it wasn't written on behalf of the Conservative Party was it?
You stated people's gripes with chavs was more about their attitude towards others.
I was only pointing out that their attiutude to others is no more offensive to me than your attitude towards others, as a Tory.
That's how we got onto it, and no I didnt think it was a statement from the Tory party, but as a card holder I hold your views as that of the Tory party.
Chavs are just an eay target, and as such people have a go at them, because it's easy.
Look at the social class and the areas so called chavs come from and I bet the majority of the time it's traditional working class areas where industy has ceased to exist due to Conservative govenment.
That's why I see it as relevant.

IMHO a chav becomes a target when they do something completely inexcusable such as spitting in the street for no reason. As a cardholder I am a supporter, someone who makes financial donations but in no way am I the mouthpiece of the party. Only those who "tow the party line" so to speak can be help accountable for such things. It is possible to be part of a political faction / organisation and yet still retain a degree of autonomy (ie. my views do not always conform to the party's official stance). I think it's a bit ill-mannered to publically display one's underwear but if that's part of their youth culture I can live with it. However, what I can't abide is people spitting in the street! It's wholly unnecessary, disgusting, unhygienic and completely inexcusable!

There is no politics forum now - so a discussion about thongs, boxers and pants leads to this! I suppose the adverts about voting must be right then - everything leads to politics :?
What is wrong with people today, sheesh.
Personally, I find the sight of a female showing her thong off very sexy, not nasty or distastefull, if the female is reasonably attractive, then why not flaunt what ya got.
I know it is pervy, but I am always thong watching, nothing better than seeing a cute derierre packaged in something that makes it pretty, there is a lot of guys who like thongs on females.
So, hurrah to all females who wish to bare their thongs, long may they continue.
Re the Jon J Parr/ Boyface argument; it is a shame you two are at odds. Both of you are interesting posters. As I know from experience, Boyface's knowledge and appreciation of culture in general [and particularly music] is formidable, and Jon J 's erudite approach to politics is admirable.
Re Boyface's view that 'Tory policy' is 'vulgar', as a card-carrying member, I will concede that the recent Tory ads match those of Labour [ Howard depicted variously as Fagin, a flying pig etc] in terms of unutterable tastelessness and vulgarity. I genuinely respect your views, Boyface [from past pms], but I ask you to remember that it IS possible to be a member of a party and not agree with its entire manifesto. Don't forget, the Tory Party, like Labour, is a 'broad church', and includes Burkean traditionalists, Social Authoritarians, Libertarians, Neo-Liberals etc. In my experience, Jon is a very reasonable, caring and well- mannered character. I don't think his intention is to demonise the working classes as an 'easy target'. Rather, he is drawing attention to a social phenomenon that actually spans the classes. Here I am talking seriously about women flashing their backsides! You two should shake hands...
Re my view on the spectacle that serves to make the senses reel. Unless we are talking about Beyonce [the pneumatic- buttocked 'musical entertainer'], whose buttocks are indeed arousing, however presented, women in general should avoid the style. It may well be related to 'display' behaviour amongst the lower primates- Common and Pygmy varieties of the Chimpanzee, the Gorilla, people from Hoyland [where a brown eyed man is looked upon with great suspicion] etc.
In the course of my Anthropological studies amongst the fossil peoples of that remote enclave of Hoyland, near darkest Barnsley, I encountered the phenomenon of Steatopygia. This condition, previously thought to be prevalent amongst only the 'San', or Kalahari Bushmen, is found in Hoyland amongst many of the womenfolk. In Steatopygia, the buttocks balloon into the most grotesque and football -like shapes. The womenfolk, we discovered, tend towards an exaggerated display of these attributes in low-cut [often stained] leggings . The leggings are, apparently, 'from Mataland', which is probably a nearby but as yet, undiscovered, settlement. The menfolk, of remarkably similar appearance [a brown eyed man is viewed with great suspicion in Hoyland], are inordinately proud of their womens' huge bottoms. 'Lookat arseonthat!', they cry at the sight of Mataland thongs. Interestingly, our studies uncovered a little known pre-coital call of the female, 'Pull me vest darn when tha's finished, Jud...' Isn't Anthropolgy a rewarding career?
rubydazzler 02-05-2005, 10:28 Admin - is it possible to have a spellcheck on site please?
It doesn't bother me when people who don't claim to have a large vocabulary make spelling errors - but the ones who post tediously and at length with pretensions to erudition - those people's mistakes really annoy me - I'm not a spelling pedant/flamer but it's sooooo tempting sometimes ...
After all - if they were merely typos which we all can make at times - they'd be corrected before posting or edited later when spotted. So, please don't type words you think you know but actually don't, in an attempt to snow the rest of us :D
LordSnooty 02-05-2005, 11:28 I'm wiv yew Roobee...
rubydazzler 02-05-2005, 11:39 darling Lord Snooty - good afternoon!
shhhh! that was supposed to be privet - just between yew and meeee!:P
LordSnooty 02-05-2005, 12:53 Very funny - actually I do have a gardening enquiry for yew, er you. Hang on a second - what's this thread about? Oh, right, yeah, Chavs and that. Yes, I think they look ridiculous with their stringy underwear on full view over the top of their trousers. Whether it's as bad as the trend a few years ago of having the word 'lust' written across your backside in gothic script..... Well anyway, what I wanted to ask you is, what kind of plant that looks nice can you put in a very heavy, poorly drained clay soil? I realise that no plants may actually like it, but what, if anything will survive, other than Dandelions. I foolishly had my man Smithers put Rhododendrons in there a few years ago and they are now looking very sorry for themselves. I will be transfering them to the rear of the Hall into the ericwhatsit type soil under the conifers, this very (lovely) afternoon.
Please help, Ruby, please.....please............
yes but have you seen the fella's wearing the ladies thongs like I do most times, and I am not talking cotton ones either I was coming out of the interchange the other day, when this chap say about 25 was walking in front of me he had got a pair of levi's on, when he decided to bend down to pick up his holdall when I got the biggest shock I can tell you he was wearing a red satin thong complete with a dimante back on it thats jewels to you and me. I have seen quite a few blokes wearing ladies thongs and g strings in this day an age it nots looked on as a taboo subject. I did a photo shoot out in one of the parks with this couple this is a week before they was getting married and both of them had got matching thongs on black and red they were and the chap told me that on the day, he gets married is wife will have got on pure white french knickers and so will he. each to every ones own. so it is just not the ladies who wear thongs and shows them off the blokes do as well good luck to them thats what I say if you've got it then flaunt it.
