hi, I am thinking of changing from virgin to one of the dongle connections for my internet, I have no experience of wi fi can anyone advise on what sort of security setup i need?
I just get the whole package from virgin at the moment, is AVG a good one to use? and how do I lock it so its secure?

The dongle is plugged directly into your computer, and isn't broadcasting any signals that people can tap into...

As with ANY net connection, you'll need a decent set of security software (firewalls, anti-virus, ad/spyware scanners, secure browser).
