Which is your all-time favourite Bond film, and any favourite character?

I thought Connery was superb and played it perfect- so he is my no.1 but I was very impressed with Daniel Craig, think he may well go down as 2nd best.

My favorite Bond movie is You only Live Twice, and if I picked a second, then the last one, Casino Royale.

I'll only ever like it when Orlando Bloom plays Bond.

Has to be Live and Let Die with the boat chase and the mad sherrif.

Also the walking of the aligators in the same film.

Before Casino Royale I'd have said my favourite Bond was Sean Connery.

I had reservations about Daniel Craig even though I thought he was superb in Layer Cake. But for me he's definately the best Bond with Casino Royale being the best film

And the Aston Martin DBS, what a car!!!!

Sheriff J W Pepper.

And yes, he did crop up in The Man With The Golden Gun, on holiday in Bangkok.

I always get him mixed up with Sheriff Buford T Justice from Smokey And The Bandit.

I also thought John Cleese's portrayal of Q had some potential too, he had some funny lines.

I've always enjoyed the Bond films in a switch-your-brain-off-and-enjoy-it kind of way. But Dr No set the mould and every one since (with the exception of License to Kill which didn't feature an evil genius trying to take over the world) was essentially nothing more than a parody of Dr No.

That's why I enjoyed Casino Royale so much. It was totally refreshing to see Daniel Craig playing Bond much more like the character that Ian Fleming wrote, rather than a stupidly suave, wise-cracking playboy.

Anyway, I think my favourite of the original series of films was probably Goldeneye and the best character ever was Max Zorin in View to a Kill - Christopher Walken plays unhinged bad-guys better than anyone else on the planet.

'On her maj' was a very good film with one of the strongest storylines of any of the bond films, but Goldfinger is, in my opinion, the best film.

Favourite character? Blofeld, Duh.

Seeing as the bond movies have a reputation for employing bad actors my fave would be Nick Nack from The Man With The Golden Gun. Hervé Villechaize was the only true thespian amongst them all.
