Takara had a dry night last night and has been on the sofa twice without her incontinence pad and not left a spot!

She developped incontinence at 2 and a half years old and after £250 worth of tests, we found there was nothing untoward behind it, just ordinary incontinence that she's developped.

I bought some incontinence pads and a herbal remedy to try and improve it (didn't want to start on drugs now as they can wear off and I want to keep them for later when the herbs may no longer work) and speed demon very kindly gave me a huge bag of towels which has been very useful!

Well she's been on the herbs a week or two now and yesterday she got on the sofa while I was out but when I got back and told her to get off, there was nothing there!
Last night was our first dry night in ages. The first night she's not woken me up wanting dry bedding or pushed Rowdy, our temporary resident off his bed because her's is wet!

Can't tell you how relieved I am for her!!

aww that's great news- did she develop it before she was spayed or after? That was one of the reasons we were reluctant to get Ailsa spayed.

I'm using CSJ Hold It! which I got from www.naturalpetchoice.com think it was only £15 for a big tub.

Unfortunately we've had some more wet spells but it does say it takes about three weeks to see a difference and she's only been on it for a couple of weeks. It does seem less though.

Hi SHSheff

I do - but as I have the Pets's group on my favourites list (or whatever the hell it's callled), I get to see all your posts. And sometimes I even read one!
