I'm thinking of volunteering to teach abroad (probably in India). I've been investigating it and it seems like doing the TEFL course through I to I might be a good option (I think you can do it on-line or over an intensive weekend course and it costs between £200 - £300).

Has anyone already done it - if so - was it worth it and what have your experiences been if you've taught abroad?
