I've foolishly deleted a folder from my C drive in Windows (XP), and then even more foolishly deleted it from the recycle bin. Doh. Anyone know how I get things back?

There is a lot of software available for this purpose and a google search using restore files freeware should find loads for you. The sooner that you act, the greater the chances of success.

Won't "System Restore" in Windows XP take you back to before you deleted?

It would help if you could install it to a USB flash drive to prevent further damage to the structure of your C: drive.
