View Full Version : Which street would benefit from being pedestrianised?

I think Division Street would greatly benefit and I think it could be done without disrupting that much traffic as it mainly used as thoroughfare rather than being a traffic bearing route.

Another one being the road beside town hall. I don't quite understand why it is still a road which been made cobbled instead of being pedestrianised.

Is there any other streets out there that would be better pedestrianised?

I was in the saxton mees new homes office on nursery street who says that once the new section of inner ring rd is completed nursery st will be pedestrianlised. Apparently its going to be apartments and shops/restaurants/bars all the way from lady's bridge up. So people can walk at the side of the river and shop..... Anyone else heard this?

Definitely Division Street. I've seen numerous accidents / near accidents with padestrians/cars. I think its the sheer number of people who use the street especially Saturdays.
