Hollywood heart throb Tom Cruise is coming to Sheffield. Mr Cruise will be filming part of his new film in the Page Hall / Fir Vale area of Sheffield within the next two months. Mr Cruises agents have already spoken to South Yorkshire Police who will assist in closing four of the main roads through the area for an action scene that will take up to 4 days to film.

In his new film Mission Impossible 3 Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Ethan Hunt who will be tracking a European diamond thief through England. It is rumoured that Ethan will see the thief in Meadowhall whilst having a briefing from Swanbeck ( Anthony Hopkins ) he then follows him in a high speed car chase through into Fir Vale where a shoot out takes place. From here he is picked up in a light aircraft and flown to France.

Many residents from the area are overwhelmed that a huge Hollywood star will be filming a blockbuster movie right on their doorstep. Tom Cruise is said to have chosen the locations himself and wanted to film part of MI3 in Sheffield after seeing ‘The Full Monty’ and thought the gritty look would suit his film.

I thought the point of April Fools Day was to try and fool people on April 1st, not March 31st.

the thing is fool - The UFO one was the proper one, it was the planned one which is why I asked so many forummers to join in to make it work. I spent a while getting everyone involved and asking them to write stuff that would keep people guessing.

As for this one . . . well, if you believed that MI3 was going to be filmed in Fir Vale - then that shows how gullible you really are.

I think you have already stated in the UFO thread that I had done this one before midnight too - you are correct, would you like an award for observational skills as well as stating uninteresting facts through quoting the obvious?
